named, B-defined is the perfect place to re-invest
in a healthy lifestyle. As a teacher of teenagers,
it is important for me to have a great deal of enthusiasm
on the job. With the guidance and knowledge of Bridgit
Kin-Charlton, I have been introduced to specialized
work-outs and an individualized eating plan which
have re-defined me in terms of my energy as well as
my figure. I have lost a total of 12 inches in a short
amount of time and am very close to the goal which
I set at the start of my program.

are just some of the benefits I've experience over
the last couple of years while following a customized
personal training program at B-defined. My customization
focuses on particular areas of development necessary
for better health to someone in my age group (65-70)
including strength, flexibility and core stability.
The personal aspect allows me to schedule at convenient
times and to proceed at a challenging but not impossible
pace that I know will improve my well-being. And,
most importantly, it allows me to live a full and
active live rather than one of slow decline. B-defined's
personal trainers are knowledgeable in all aspects
of physical health and a joy to work with.

Hiking around a canyon
wall for three miles, climbing the side of a mesa
at Petroglyph National Park, hiking through Hovenweep
National Park, and climbing ladders and steep, narrow
paths at Mesa Verde was a dream come true for me.
On this vacation I was able to keep up with my family
and not be left behind! I was so excited that I could
do these things that when I came down from the very
steep climb at Petroglyph I called Bridgit and thanked
her that I could do this.
I began working with Bridgit two
years ago after receiving disquieting results from
a bone density test. Exercise to increase bone density
and to delay the onset of osteoporosis was one of
the doctor’s recommendations. Bridgit designed
a program that would help me in this area and we began
twice weekly workout sessions. I recently had a new
bone density test and it turned out very well!
I have found that working with Bridgit
and exercising regularly has improved my health in
other areas, as well. My endurance, balance, reflexes
and coordination have all improved after receiving
proper strength and balance training. Another plus
is better pulmonary function and cardiovascular strength.
Along with all of these positive physical impacts
from regular workouts with Bridgit, I also receive
the extra bonus of a sense of accomplishment and well-being.
As a sixty-five year old woman, I
intend to continue working out with Bridgit as it
is the healthy thing to do, it enables me to enjoy
physical activities and it is Fun!

The staff at B-defined
has made a new woman out of me! I have done cardio
exercise for years, but nothing gave me the results
that personal training has. I had reached a plateau
with my weight loss until I began strength training
and after just a few months of training, I’d
lost another 10% of my body weight and lots of inches
from those places you like to lose inches. No bulking
up – just lean and strong. My blood pressure
is under better control and my stamina, strength and
balance are greatly improved. The aches and pains
of “maturity” have disappeared. In fact,
regular strength training has been a greater benefit
than lots of expensive physical therapy.
As I have gotten healthier and stronger,
my twice weekly workouts at B-defined have assumed
an ever higher priority in my weekly schedule. Every
workout is unique challenging and rewarding. It is
amazing how being physically stronger can also make
you mentally stronger. I am very pleased with my results
and feel younger and healthier than I did ten years
ago!
