Bridgit lives life to the fullest. As a personal trainer, dancer and triathelete champion, Bridgit knows from her own experience, the benefits of an excellent exercise program. Her personal training sessions help clients with weight loss, muscle definition, strength, and stress management. Clients leave the B-defined studio with renewed confidence knowing they feel better physically and emotionally.

Bridgit holds a Masters of Education in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Management. She is an American Council on Exercise certified Personal Trainer and an Aerobic and Fitness Association of America certified Group Fitness Instructor. She is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. Bridgit has worked in the fitness industry for over 13 years, most recently as the Fitness Coordinator for Kingsmill Resort and Spa. What makes Bridgit unique is her insight and ability to analyze the body while developing an innovative fitness program that brings her clients results.

Bridgit’s goal is to provide a premier training studio that enables clients to experience a “one stop shop” for all their health and wellness needs. Whether it is to train for your first triathlon, define and tone your body, or simply to improve your lifestyle, B-defined Innovative Personal Training & Wellness helps clients appreciate their bodies and enjoy a better quality of life.

Gina is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She was formerly employed as a Drill Instructor for with the Virginia Department of Corrections. Her responsibilities included providing daily, structured physical fitness training for the inmates. Gina plans to further her education by obtaining a degree in Exercise Science.

Gina believes that a successful fitness program includes giving her clients a structured, customized workout that improves their personal health and achieves their wellness goals. She likes to keep her programs fun, fresh and full of motivation! Gina believes the keys to optimum health include an active lifestyle; strength, flexibility and cardiovascular training; and a well-balanced diet.

Gina enjoys running, bike riding, and strength training. She also enjoys cooking healthy meals and spending time with her pets. “Your commitment becomes my commitment; I truly enjoy assisting clients achieve their desired goals and the sense of accomplishment that is felt when that goal is met!” Whether your goals are weight loss, strength or endurance training, muscle definition or general health and wellness, Gina will motivate and assist you along the path to a healthier you.

Anna has a passion for working with clients one on one to help them find their best selves. Although she has enjoyed competitive sports as a runner and avid mountain biker, her first love is Yoga. As a Certified Yoga Therapist, Anna teaches clients to reacquaint themselves with the sensate wisdom of their own bodies. Through her personal training sessions, clients not only learn how to push past their limits, but also how to dissolve unnecessary tensions. Anna’s clients learn to integrate their outer strength with a strong and resilient inner self. The result is a new vitality and clarity to meet life with joy.

Anna holds a Master’s of Education in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Fitness Management. She is an American Council on Exercise certified Personal Trainer, and has held certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America. She is also a Certified Yoga Therapist (500 hours). She has served as the Director for Health and Wellness at Christopher Newport University’s Freeman Center, and brings nearly 20 years of fitness experience to help you make the most of both your inner and outer selves.

Sammy is a Certified Level 1 USA Triathlon Coach. His personal training and coaching past has had him working within many areas of the health and athletic spectrum. Ski and Snowboard instruction for Vail Resorts, Tennis Instruction in Virginia and Youth Sport Performance Clinics and Endurance Sport coaching in New York City are a few positions that have left Sammy well-traveled and experienced to take on whatever goals the client may have. He believes that fitness should become a lifestyle and for that reason needs to be FUN! His goal is always not only to get you to your absolute fittest and healthiest, but to always have you leaving the gym smiling!

Sammy is a high-level age group competitor in the Triathlon world.
Among other merits he was a member of the 2008 Long Course Duathlon World Championship team and competed for the USA at the championships in Geel, Belgium. He was the first USA finisher in the 24 and under age group. Running has always been his absolute passion and takes a very minimalist approach to the craft. He believes running should not ‘hurt’ and focuses on getting the client back to running like they did when they were kids.

Above everything else his passion is in seeing his clients reach their full potential, whether that be crossing a finish line, setting a personal best time, losing weight, or just waking up every day with more energy than ever before! His other hobbies/ loves are being an absolute foodie and watching or playing every sport under the sun. Sammy will get the FUN back in your workouts and help you achieve that goal you are after!

She has been helping clients around the world achieve their health and fitness goals since 2003. Janet also has experience in working with clients rehabilitating from major orthopedic surgeries.

Janet’s approach to fitness is comprehensive, incorporating traditional strength training exercises, core-centric Pilates moves, functional body weight exercises, and cardio-based circuits. Her programs are fun, challenging, and always tailored to your individual needs. You’ll never become bored with one of Janet’s programs. She believes in keeping things fresh and will always be introducing new exercises to challenge your muscles, endurance, and balance.Janet’s goal in working with you will always be to help you achieve your health and fitness goals, whether it’s to look great on your big day, gain greater strength and balance, or simply embrace a more healthy lifestyle.

Stephanie is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She is a former AFAA Jazzercise instructor. Her responsibilities as a Jazzercise instructor included preparing for and teaching choreographed dance and strength training routines. Fitness has been a staple in Stephanie’s life for over 10 years.

Currently, Stephanie is training for a figure competition. She relies on a strict diet plan and training regimen, and raw determination, dedication and perseverance. Stephanie plans to pursue a certification in Lifestyle & Weight Management through the American Council on Exercise.

Stephanie enjoys working with people and helping them achieve their personal health and fitness goals. She prides herself on the time she takes to prepare for her personal training sessions in order to bring out the best in each one of her clients. She believes that everyone can achieve their goals with the right motivation, instruction and fitness and nutritional program. Stephanie strives to make her workouts exciting, fresh and challenging for her clients.

Valerie offers twenty-five years of experience as a nutrition therapist. She is a Registered Dietitian and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Vermont. Her goal is to truly understand her client’s needs and help motivate, empower, and educate them on food and its effect on the human body.

Valerie is an American Dietetic Association Certified Weight Management Therapist, and she is particularly skilled in helping client’s lose unnecessary weight. Valerie provides services such as grocery shopping tours with clients to help them learn to read labels and make better choices in meal planning.

Valerie also provides expertise in sports nutrition, eating disorders, and chemical dependency. Her presentations and seminars make her a popular consultant to area corporations and schools. Valerie’s knowledge of nutrition and weight management makes her an essential member of the B-defined team of professionals.
